Cat Escape is a wonderful vacation platform for 2-3 couples, or a family of 4 to 6, to enjoy the beautiful waters, sea life and landscape of the Virgin Islands.

Cat Escape is a luxurious and spacious 44 foot Fountaine-Pajot power catamaran, with a 21.5 foot beam, and 4 foot draft.  She was custom built in LaRochelle, France in the summer of 2005, commissioned in Annapolis, MD in November, and placed into charter service in December 2005 in St. Thomas, USVI.

Cat Escape is a stable platform for tons of fun with plenty of room and comfort features. Three private cabins and a single crew berth are located in the hulls.  The salon has a galley, dining area, and helm station with lots of seating, and windows all around.  The spacious covered cockpit has a large table for outdoor dining and access to twin swim platforms.  The flybridge helm, seating, lounging, and dining area is partially covered with a blue bimini top.

Cat Escape is powerful and fast, with twin Volvo-Penta 310 HP diesels.  She is very stable in all conditions.  The catamaran design is also very fuel efficient.  You’ll be able to cruise in style and comfort enjoying all the Virgin Islands have to offer.  With over 1,200 square feet of space, you’ll have plenty of room for sun bathing, dining, entertaining, and the privacy of 3 separate cabins and heads.

Accommodations:  Completely air-conditioned, Cat Escape has a large master suite with a queen island bed, couch, vanity table, double closets, electric head and separate shower in the port hull.  Two additional double cabins, each with electric head and shower, and plenty of storage space are located in the starboard hull.  A single crew berth cabin and head is located forward of the master cabin in the port hull.  She sleeps 3 couples comfortably with accommodations for a captain, if needed.

Galley:  Cat Escape has a well-equipped galley, with oven, stove, microwave, toaster, blender, refrigerator, freezer, two sinks, and enough storage space for over a week of cruising.

Instruments:  She has a Raymarine E120 color GPS chart plotter and fish finder in the salon helm station, and an E80 on the flybridge.  Raymarine autopilot, Tri Data with depth and speed, and ICOM VHF radio are found at both the salon and flybridge helm stations.  A convenient intercom is available between the bridge and salon helm stations.

Layout: Large master suite, and 2 double cabins with 3 electric heads with showers; also a single berth with head and shower.  Large salon with helm station, galley, dining area and open cockpit.  Flybridge.

Entertainment:  Watch your favorite TV shows and DVD’s on the salon’s large flat panel screen.  Listen to the AM/FM stereo radio, or load your CD’s into the 6 disc changer and listen to them in the salon, cockpit or flybridge.
